Telling your story is an act of bravery, an act of defiance and, ultimately, of trust. When you move toward telling your story authentically – whether that be through the act of writing or through creating some other soul-based work in the world, you step out of what you have been programmed to do. You step into your true nature.
To do so, in whatever manner, is an act of courage. The world around you may not feel welcoming, and our culture teaches us to shrink down, to follow what’s prescribed.
In moments when you sense a cold flick of doubt, I invite you to remember what your soul already knows—that you are infinitely loved, that you are always safe. Then, then, you can lift your voice, and sing the words in your heart.
